Back in 1990 a group of Firefighters from Milford bought chanters and started taking lessons. Back in 1990 a group of Firefighters from Milford bought chanters and started taking lessons. Before long this group was down to one, Pipe Major James Coubrough. By 1992 Jim was up and playing his pipes. Jim piped for the Milford Fire Department at its dedication of fire HQ in 1993. After this a small group from Milford again started taking lessons.
