A Grade 3B competition band from Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland, which competes under the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association. Grade 4A World Champions 2002, who also attend parades, festivals, carnivals and charity functions. - Grade 4A 2002 World Champio Killen Pipe Band currently competes in Grade 3B of the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association. Under the expert guidance of Pipe Major Robert Burke and Pipe Sergeant Ivan Clarke, the band competes at home in Northern Ireland, in the South and also in Scotland. The band has been extremely successful in its short time in the competition arena, with the most notable success recorded at the 2002 World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow. We were crowned 'Grade 4A World Champions' and we now hope to achieve further success in the coming year.
Although the competition scene is the major focus for the band, we also participate in numerous other activities including parades, festivals, carnivals and charity functions.
