Duncan McCall Pipe Band, Pensacola's Premier Pipe Band was founded June 1, 2004 under the direction of Pipe Major Steven Bicknell. Duncan McCall Pipe Band, Pensacola's Premier Pipe Band was founded June 1, 2004 under the direction of Pipe Major Steven Bicknell and Drum Sergeant Michael Paige. The band was formed as a concert & competition band that works long and hard to produce a beautiful product to it's many audiences. The band comprises a diverse group of musicians with a wide range of talent and skill from the entry level amateur musician all the way up to the Professional grade musician. The band features many award winning pipers and drummers from competitions all over the Southern United States. Duncan McCall Pipe Band is a young and exciting group that features a full repertoire of Scottish and Celtic Music while delivering inspiring performances that include strong melodies and beautiful harmonies, soloists, duets, quartets and drumming fanfares. The Duncan McCall Pipe Band is available for instruction, or hire for any occasion.
