The Eastern Long Island Police Pipes and Drums [ELIPPD] have been in existence since 1990. The Eastern Long Island Police Pipes & Drums [ELIPPD] have been in existence since 1990. We are comprised mostly of Law Enforcement officers from the five easternmost townships in Suffolk County on Long Island, NY. We currently have a membership of approximately 50 people spanning an area from the Bronx to East Hampton. Any Law Enforcement Officer, active or retired, can become a member of the ELIPPD. Civilians are also welcome, provided that the current civilian membership does not exceed 50%. If you would like to know more about our band, send us some email.
