Hi All -
Anyone know anything about these?:

I know about e-bay-cheapie-wall-hangers, but one item of feedback is ..."better than Dunbar"....
Don't get me wrong, I am very skeptical, but also curious.
Thanks.

I have never heard of this pipe maker before. If your looking for a full set of highland bagpipes, your better off getting a set from an established pipe maker. I personally would save my money and buy a better set. Sound is so important and is worth the wait.
Another option is to buy a set of small pipes for around the amount money. I have a set of Walsh Small pipes which are have a great sound and are easy to play.
They look nice so in the photo, but if they don't sound good you'll have a $400 wall ornament to hang over the fireplace.

one thing...WHat key are they actually in? ebaying is not s scary I've even bought an excellent set of smallpipes on ebayfrom a dealer...When you order Dunbar's at least they have a rep (bad or good) I doubt the differance in laquering last year to this year is that big a deal, Iwould want to hear em played while walnut is a hardwood.. Blackwood is so dense it doesn't float so, long term what will they sound like in 10 years.... If they aren't true to tone you might never be able to play with band ....I would be very leary .. for those reasons ......:)
