Hi all,
Brand new to the forums and very brand new to the pipes. I'm still in the beginning phase of getting my pipes setup and learning to get sound out of them. Got all the reeds set to go and are playable. The big problem I'm having now is that I can fill the bag with air but it seems air is escaping too quickly. The bag will fill up and the drones will activate but I can't keep it up for very long. I've read various things on breathing technique and I know more than your average bear about breathing as I am a professional saxophonist (and proficient on various other woodwinds)...so I've got a grasp on using the diaphragm etc... Any ideas on the problem might be? Thanks so much and happy piping to all.
