Pipe repairs Only?

Hello Pipers everywhere!
Just a question for all Pipers...Would you use a Service dedicated to the repair of your pipes?
I am thinking about setting this little business up as I think there is room for a skilled craftsman to solely concentrate on the quick turn-around of repaired parts.
Any comments appreciated.

Welcome to the boards.

I guess it really depends on what type of repair services you are offering.

I own two sets of pipes, one is a really good set and one so-so set. I would use such a service for to so-so set, but would send the good set back to the original pipe maker to keep them 100% stock.

Now for the so-so set, I have a tenor drone piece that needs to be replaced as well as some imitation ivory endcaps. These are strictly a parade/bar set of pipes.

If you start such a business we would be happy to announce it on our websites.
