Description: Special pipes made by Dave Atherton of C. E. Kron Bagpipes (his own personal set). Made of the finest select African Blackwood and premium ivory. The instrument was made in the Donald MacDonald - David Glen tradition and style. Inside bore dimensions are made to the exact Henderson (1910) specs. All ring caps, bushings, mounts and ferruels are threaded and glued. Like New Condition. Replacement cost is $5,000 US. (Atherton's cost estimate). With the Rocket Reeds this is Bagpipe Heaven. Includes: • 1 2001 C.E. Kron Blackwood Medalist One Chanter (Like new, no carvings). • 2 Blowpipes: w/Ivory mount and Ivory bulb and is brass lined w/ Little Mac valve. (the bulb has a hairline crack, see picture) The other blowpipe has a traditional valve. • Drone Reed Sets: Rocket Reeds, Selbie Reeds. • Bag: Bannatyne Hide/Synthetic Hybrid Bag (side zipper) (medium) w/moisture control sleeve. • Bagpipe Case: RSI - Proline simi-rigid, like new, Black heavy duty balistic nylon. • Misc: Korg CA-30 tuner w/optional bagpipe drone tuner microphone.
