From the age of eight, Bigley studied the traditional, rarely heard, uilleann pipes with Achill Island (Co. Mayo) piper Michael Kilbane — with whom he also studied flute, whistle and low whistle. He has toured extensively throughout North America, Europe and the UK. He is also a world-class Irish step dancer.The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo will present Tomáseen Foley’s A Celtic Christmas at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 5 in the Mainstage theater in the Center for the Arts on the UB North (Amherst) Campus. *-*MORE INFO (http://www.buffalo.edu/news/8964)
