so...I've been interested in the bagpipes for a couple of years now, but haven't really taken the time to follow up on that interest. I have looked at a few of the threads in this sub-forum, but I'm still not sure where to find all of the things necessary to start piping.

I live in Farmville, Virginia, about an hour south of Richmond. I was curious as to if there is anyone on this site who lives around here. I would like to find out where i can get a practice canter and perhaps find a teacher from who I can begin learning.

If you're still looking, try the Greater Richmond Pipes and Drums. They should get you sorted and help with any advise.
