Brand new Galician smallpipes built for me by Rob Gandara of the Pipe Makers Union of Corvallis, Oregon. (http://www.carbony.com/) The chanter is pitched G major and pipes have one tunable drone. Drone, chanter and mouthpiece are
beautiful carbon fiber with stainless steel trim and fittings. Bag is deep blue, almost black. Beautiful work by Rob on these. Natural reeds. Be advised The chanter is LEFT HANDED because that is how I play whistle and flute. I'm sure Rob could make this a right handed chanter.
Here's the deal. I am an Irish flute and whistle player in a Celtic band; figured it would be cool to
have pipes in the mix. Truth is, I am so busy with
flute and other interests that I don't have time to
learn a new instrument.
